Finn Birger Lie (Norwegian) is a Management Consultant specialised in Market Studies, Business Development and Partner Search for Commercial and Investment purposes. In his work as a management consultant he has partaken and directed projects in the following industries, Health, Environment & Safety (business development, financing and company start-up), Renewable Energy (business development, market studies, sales, partner search, external financing, public administration relations and company start-up) Telecommunication/digital TV (market studies, partner search) Higher Education (business development, academic validation, partner search) and IT Software and E-learning (business development, product development and sales). Finn Birger holds a directorship at Solarnor S.L., a manufacturing company of Renewable Energy products and sits on the board of Euscan S.L. a local firm dedicated to the development of technological solutions directed at the Health, Environmental & Safety sector. Since 1995 Finn Birger has worked closely with the London (UK) based management consultancy firm Business Planning & Development Corporation. In the last couple of years he has been involved in two interdisciplinary workshops arranged by the Basque Regional Governments Management Research Institution called Cluster de Conocimiento. In the year 2001 on two occasions he was invited as a speaker at the IIR - Institute for International Research (Madrid and Barcelona) conferences on Manufacturing Management. Finn Birger holds a BSc in Marketing from the Norwegian Graduate School of Management (NMH/BI) and an MBA - European Management Programme a joint MBA between the University of Deusto in Bilbao Spain, Group ESC Nantes, France and Strathclyde Graduate Business School in Glasgow Scotland. He speaks fluently English and Spanish and basic French apart form his native Norwegian.
